The Schools Project is one of the major charitable efforts of The Matthew Kelly Foundation. Each year more than 50,000 students experience one of our school programs which are primarily designed to help young people discover their mission in life.
For more than a decade our work has been focused on high school students, but in 2010 the foundation will launch it's first elementary program. The program has been designed around Matthew's first children's book, Why am I Here? a story about becoming the-best-version-of-yourself!
In a recent interview about his work with high school students Matthew said, "They are so young and have not yet made the mistakes that so many of us make, the mistakes that cause us to be in need of a life-changing message. Their hearts are free. All we need to do is give them the courage to follow their hearts. If we give them a life-directing message right now, we may save them from needing a life-changing message ten, twenty, or thirty years from now."
