Every year The Matthew Kelly Foundation receives hundreds of requests from prison libraries, chaplains, and prisoners for copies of our books and programs. Hope for Prisoners is the program that responds to these requests. There are 2.5 million men and woman in prison in the United States. Many of them receive no training or mentoring during their prison term to help them live a more productive and purposeful life when they are released. We believe that as a society we need to do something to give these men and woman hope for a better future once they have paid their debt to society. The Hope for Prisoners program is our way of serving this segment of society.
